bigger version: here

Well awesome, I made a ref sheet for the one character no one wants to see any more of XD

Name: Drakmn (dra-ki-min-ya, roll your r's) Grison

Age: The story starts with him at 25 and progresses until he dies at somewhere around 47.

Real world age: He'll have stuck around for eight years next month :'D

Race: Aterhei, grew up in Eden.

Height: 6'8", pretty sure.

Weight: doubleplusungood

Language: speaks both English and Aterhei, lost most of his original accent save for some inflections and certain pronunciations. He doesn't speak particularly eloquent English, more stumbles through his sentences (in the same way he stumbles into walls, good job bro). Knows a bit of the Eden dialects but has no reason to use them anymore.

Origin of name: "Dragon Grey" isn't technically his real name. When he immigrated to Eden, "Drakmn Grison" was too foreign-sounding and the officers at the Vladisleas Immigration Bridge gave him a new one. Names in Aterhei don't mean what they do in English, so people like Dragon or Chimera, their names weren't originally... those. Yeah.

Family: Father - Basilisk deceased, Mother - Lethlana deceased, Brother - Griffin deceased, Sister - Dobki alive and very well!

Tsarbodys: There's oodles of history that goes along with this, um oh well. At first glance you can tell Tsarbodys Aterhei apart from non-... those, by their extremely elongated limbs/torso/etc. (comes from the bones shifting around). Thup Dragon.

Aterhei were originally experiments created by Eden, and they gave them the power to change their form so that the Aterhei could fight Eden's battles for them.

by the time the Aterhei had won their freedom and had emigrated to their haven, Tsarbodys forms were not recognised as anything great, and more as unfortunate, because the affects of this power over time lead to severe osteoporosis, a weakening of the immune system, anemia, muscular dystrophy, and other un-fun things.

Tsarbodys abilities started to disappear over many generations, but certain groups of Aterhei want to keep the bloodline stronger and so by breeding amongst themselves. Dragon's dad was a Tsarbodys advocate who wanted Aterheilm to re-join Eden, so it was only right for his children to be as badass as he was :'D oh joy.

Issues: near-sighted (refuses to wear glasses), extremely weak by the end of things, lactose intolerant, dyslexic, does dumb self-destructive things while ignoring or not really understanding the consequences.

Possible issues: (He hasn't actually been diagnosed with any of these things, it's just my/others' hypotheses.)
    PTSD
    Genophobia
Arrested development (due to PTSD?, probably why he relates better with younger people.)
    No real interest in food?

+ Most of his depression isn't even noticed by him. I don't really know how to describe this. He does and thinks bad things but seems to forget about it or ignore it when anyone mentions it-- resulting in him acting like a pretty happy, laid back person, which is more how he perceives himself.

Relationshit with Chimera: tl;dr Dragon's afraid of intimacy and always considered himself pretty asexual. Chimera on the other hand was always terrifyingly promiscuous with no desire for a real relationship with someone. Despite all the shit I draw, they actually weren't able to spend much time together, and the time they did spend together more revolved around them trying to kill each other :'D :'D :'DDDD It took them a while to understand things. It took Dragon until like, his death bed to come to terms with it and obviously it was too late by that time :/ a lot of the pictures I draw of them together I feel is more done as a favour because they didn't actually get to have nicetiems together while they were alive. lololo

Alternate Universe stories: Dragon makes silly little cameos in a lot of stories as someone or another, and the chibii on the side (I am lazy hi) are the bigger roles he plays in things.

How Joseph Afor... - some steampunky story for the sake of being a steampunky story. There is a war, Jotheph flieth away, is pursued by HUH I WONDER

Myertvograd - Snow. Russians. Suicide bombers. Sounds like a rollicking good time.

Galactic Railroad - my take on Kenji Miyazawa's famous story. Because I destroy all that I love.

Derpy things: Got his nose broken when he was sixteen and it never healed right, plays the guitar semi-okay, is good at walking into things, sleeps too much, sometimes wakes up cross-eyed and gets freaked out, has really bizarre dreams (so does anyone, but), will consider putting vodka in cereal in place of milk.

AS ALWAYS THERE IS MORE TO SAY BUT I FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE WHO READ ALL THIS. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease ask, it's pretty obvious I'm egocentric enough to jump into a conversation about my dumbass headfriends.

So much pencil, and my good friend photoshop cs3.
